The , a distinguished research hub at The , is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the university鈥檚 The OIG is a vibrant student organization composed of dedicated medical students from the .

This unique and dynamic partnership is designed to foster a rich environment where medical students, doctoral students and faculty researchers converge. The primary goal of this alliance is to broaden the avenues and experiences for both hands-on clinical learning and fundamental scientific research within the field of ophthalmology. By working side by side, this initiative promises to cultivate a profound appreciation among participants for the intriguing interplay between bench discoveries and patient care and treatment. Ultimately, such direct interactions, will ignite innovation and significantly expand the horizons of discovery in eye care through the critical lens of patient needs.

Through this collaborative effort, NTERI and OIG aspire to cultivate a robust and interconnected community of future researchers and practicing clinicians. A primary objective is to develop a strong network where students can offer mutual support, share their knowledge and learn from each other鈥檚 experiences as they advance in their careers in eye care and research.
